Society for Precision Engineering since last year, helping to promote the domestic precision engineering field and international cooperation. Now he serves as the chairman of the Asian Society for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology (ASPEN), which includes the Taiwan Society for Precision Engineering, the Japan Society for Precision Engineering, the Korea Society for Precision Engineering, the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong and other relevant organizations will hold the 11th International Conference of ASPEN in Taiwan next year. From the fundamental research to the industrial application cooperation, we will further assist in promoting national intelligent manufacturing policies, etc., with engineering applications as the research direction, and we hope to help significantly improve the technical capabilities of Taiwan%u2019s related industries, while also continuing to increase Taiwan%u2019s influence in terms of academic and administrative services.Technical ContributionsProfessor Tsai has been researching intelligent manufacturing, image processing, AI applications and nano-/micro-fabrication for many years. He develops essential technologies and attaches great importance to engineering applications and industrial value. In addition to accounting for the NSTC, he conducts industry-university research with industry leaders such as TSMC, Largan and Delta Electronics to assist in developing required technologies. He is committed to developing scientific and industrial research from basics to applications, from domestic to international.1. Key technological breakthroughs are as follows:%u25a0 Research on image processing technology in industry and brain science. From macroscopic detection of moving objects to monitoring the characteristics and behavior of tiny fruit flies and further process monitoring of industrial production equipment.%u2605 Collaborate with Academician Ann-Shyn Chiang from NTHU Brain Science Center on brain science research to develop big-data automatic analysis of Drosophila courtship and social behaviour using machine vision. Through the established motion prediction model and forward direction change restrictions, the courtship behavior of multiple fruit flies can be analyzed simultaneously for the first time; up to 20 fruit flies can also be tracked simultaneously to analyze their social behavior. The result, %u201cAutomatic Virgin Fruit Fly Collector%u201d, won the National Innovation Award and was reported by media such as the Liberty Times. In 2013, he won first place in the 5th i-ONE International Instrument %u7b2c%u4e09%u5341%u4e00%u5c46%u6771%u5143%u734e%uff0e%u79d1%u6280%u985e%u734e%u6a5f%u68b0 / %u6de8%u96f6%u6392%u653e / %u74b0%u5883%u79d1%u6280
