Professor Teng became the Deputy Director of the Hierarchical Green-Energy Materials Research Center at NCKU, where he supported core research and development efforts in green energy technologies. His scientific endeavors focus on lithium ion battery, solar cells, supercapacitors, water splitting, and catalytic reactions.Professor Teng%u2019s leadership in the Taiwan-Germany collaborative research program resulted in the achievement of remarkable outcomes within three years, including technology transfers totaling NT$42.9 million, investment of NT$16.5 million, and industry-academia cooperation reaching NT$54.8 million. The German side recognized Taiwan%u2019s significance in the technology supply chain and expressed interest in enhancing scientific collaboration with Taiwan in areas such as advanced lithium battery research, AI development and applications, semiconductor technologies, and talent training, including postdoctoral exchanges. In 2023, a delegation from Germany visited Taiwan to discuss further collaboration, and the success of this program has been lauded as a model for future TaiwanGermany cooperation.Professor Teng%u2019s primary academic contributions lie in the 134 135
