                                    In high-frequency communication technology, Professor Lin has made pioneering advances by incorporating liquid crystalline polymer alignment technology into modified polyimides, developing materials with an extremely low dielectric loss (below 0.002), suitable for use in high-frequency flexible circuit boards. Furthermore, he developed bio-based modified polyphenylene ether (PPO) resins with dielectric properties comparable to international products such as SABIC%u2019s SA9000 and Mitsubishi Chemical%u2019s OPE-2St. In the field of halogen-free flame retardants, Professor Lin has successfully mass-produced flame-retardant epoxy resins and high-alkali-resistant flame-retardant bisphenols.Professor Lin%u2019s research achievements have been widely recognized, earning him numerous awards, including the Hsing Kuang Award for Industry-Academia Collaboration at NCHU, the Ministry of Science and Technology Outstanding Research Award, the 17th National Innovation Award, the inaugural YongKwang Chemical Green Chemistry Award, the Polymer Society%u2019s Outstanding Polymer Application Award, and the Distinguished Alumni Award from National Cheng Kung University.
