                                    Future Prospects of ResearchThe current environmental treatment technology has gradually transitioned from the study of the reaction mechanism and reaction kinetics of pollutants to the development of green technology based on the circular economy and environmentally friendly nanomaterials. In addition, the water-energy nexus and smart AI water affairs are the current important issues for water and wastewater treatment technology. Therefore, international collaboration is the key issue for the development of net zero emissions and environmental technology. In addition to the continuous development of novel environmental technology, Professor Doong has recently launched the overseas Center for Clean Water and Sustainable Energy in Malaysia and Thailand. In the future, Professor Doong will continue to develop multifunctionalized nanomaterials and establish intimate international cooperation in green energy and net zero emissions technology, hoping to solve the problems of water pollution and green energy shortages in Asia through cross-border academic cooperation. Therefore, we look forward to the development of energy-saving and carbon-negative treatment technologies in the next-generation technology, and, at the same time, cooperate with peers around the world to internalize environmental green technology and carbon-negative technology into the spirit of net-zero emission and sustainable development, so that everyone can move forward together towards environmental sustainability and net zero emissions. 100 101
